When several strangers get trapped on an infamous horror movie set while touring a Hollywood studio, they must tell their scariest stories as if their lives depended on it. Genre fans should already smell an anthology, and they are on the right track if images of CREEPSHOW, TALES FROM THE CRYPT, or the MASTERS OF HORROR and FEAR ITSELF series are creeping into mind. The tales found here are directed by some of the biggest names in horror, cult, and special effects, including Sean S. Cunningham (FRIDAY THE 13TH), Ken Russell (ALTERED STATES, TOMMY), Monte Hellman (TWO-LANE BLACKTOP), and some of the visual effects artists from THE MATRIX and TERMINATOR 2. Off-kilter genre director Joe Dante (GREMLINS, THE HOWLING, MATINEE) takes wrap-around story duties in this fresh take on anthology horror.
